How long should you bleed for after sex in pregnancy at 5 months?

Hi, had sexual intercourse once and then the next day noticed little bleeding just once.
the second day noticed little bleeding on tissue after going to the loo, then went hospital and it was o.k. did not want an internal examination.
thinks it's because of the sexaul intercourse.
day was fine 4th day little on tissue? is this normal? l do have 20 week scan this week! Second pregnancy.
