Risk of taking medication in early pregnancy?

My husband and I just found out today that we are 8 weeks pregnant.

weeks ago I had a NASTY flu. I took vick 44 and then for a moment I took mucinex. I have also been taking the following vitamens: E, B complex and, Omega 3 fish oil. I have been getting LOTS of different answers on what is bad and what is good.

could cause birth defects and what dosent. A dividing answer would be nice.

    You should be fine.

    your doctor what you took.

    3 to my understanding is very good for an early stage baby.
